Green Bay's star cornerback, Jaire Alexander, missed their week 4 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings with a quad/groin injury. Head coach Matt LaFleur said he doesn’t believe Jaire Alexander has a long-term injury and expects him to return to play soon.

LaFleur and the Packers have not ruled Jaire out for their upcoming game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, 10/6/2024 at SoFi Stadium as Coach LaFleur said “I don't think it’s going to be anything too significant or too long-term… We’ll see if he’s available this week or not.”

Jaire was limited at practice both Wednesday and Thursday going into the week 4 matchup, but ultimately missed practice Friday and the game on Sunday. He was injured in practice last week, which unfortunately is just a part of the game.

Alexander has missed 22 games at this point in his career, and the defense is noticeably struggling to stop the passing game when he is not on the field.

The Packers don’t practice until Wednesday, the day of week 5’s first injury report. As we hope for a speedy recovery and to see him on the field on Sunday, we likely won’t know his status until the Friday injury report comes out. Worst case scenario, fans won’t know if he will play until about an hour before kickoff.
